Questions everyone asks before changing their system
We gathered what really gets asked on sales and support calls, and answered it straight: tax compliance, pricing, setup, security and support.
What is Furat?
Furat is a Saudi cloud business platform that brings accounting, ZATCA-compliant tax invoices, contracts and e-signature, point of sale, inventory and CRM into one account, in Arabic. From SAR 49 a month, with a 14-day free trial and no bank card.

About the platform
4 questionsWhat's the difference between Furat and ordinary accounting software?
Accounting software records what happened. Furat runs the work itself: you sell at the point of sale, the stock moves, the tax invoice is issued and sent to ZATCA, and the accounting entry is posted — all from one action, with no re-entering data in four systems.
Can I subscribe to just one program?
Yes. Each program works on its own with all its features, and you can turn on others later on the same data, with no migration. See the programs page for each program's own price.
Does Furat work on mobile?
Yes. Furat has apps on the App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery as well as the web. Invoicing, collections, point of sale, approvals and signing all work straight from your phone.
Is the interface really Arabic, or a translation?
The platform is built in Arabic, right to left: the terms are Saudi accounting terms, the calendar is Hijri and Gregorian, and templates and reports print in Arabic with no broken letters. English is available in the same account for those who need it.
Tax compliance
3 questionsIs Furat compliant with Phase 2 of e-invoicing?
Yes. Furat issues invoices in the certified format with the QR code, the e-signature and the chained hash, links your business to Fatoora and saves the acceptance notice for every invoice. The compliance certificate is created inside the platform, with no outside provider.
Who keeps up with ZATCA's updates?
We do. Any change to the specifications or required fields is applied in the platform before it becomes mandatory, and you get a notice of what changed and what it needs from you — with no upgrade to pay for.
Does Furat prepare the VAT return?
Yes. The return is built from your actual outputs and inputs, highlighting the exceptions that need your review, and you export it ready to file. No collecting figures by hand from scattered files.
Pricing & subscription
3 questionsHow much does Furat cost per month?
Plans start at SAR 49 a month, Professional is SAR 149, and the Enterprise plan is priced by branches and users. Prices are before VAT, and paying yearly saves two months. The details are on the pricing page.
Are there setup or training fees?
Not on the Basic and Professional plans: setup, data import and training are included in the subscription. Large enterprise projects are estimated by data volume and number of branches.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, with no compulsory contract. The service continues to the end of the paid cycle, and your data stays available to export afterwards.
Setup & switching
3 questionsHow long does it take to get running in my business?
Signing up and issuing your first invoice take the same day. Full setup — importing customers, items and opening balances and connecting branches — usually takes one to five working days depending on your data, and our onboarding team does it with you.
Can my data be moved from my current system?
Yes. We import customers, suppliers, items, opening balances and receivable balances from Excel or CSV files, and review a sample with you before signing off, so it matches your old system.
Does the team need long training?
One session is usually enough: an hour for cashiers, two for the accountant or finance manager — plus short Arabic guides inside the system on every screen.
Security & data
3 questionsWhere is my business's data kept?
In cloud data centres inside Saudi Arabia, with encrypted connections and stored data, daily backups, and a login log showing who signed in, from which device and when.
Can I export my data if I decide to move?
Yes. Your data belongs to your business, and customers, items, invoices, entries and the general ledger can be exported as Excel or CSV at any time from inside the system, free of charge.
How are user permissions managed?
By role, and at the level of branch, warehouse and operation together, so a user can sell without seeing costs, or count stock without approving the adjustment. Every sensitive action is recorded in the audit trail.
Technical support
2 questionsWhat support is there, and when?
Support is in Arabic, Sunday to Thursday, 9 am to 6 pm Saudi time, by WhatsApp, email and phone, with an average reply time under four minutes. The Enterprise plan includes a dedicated account manager and an SLA.
Can my external accounting firm access my account?
Yes, with a review-only user who can read and export entries and reports without editing or posting, and everything they do shows in the login log.
Terms that keep coming up in Saudi invoicing
Short definitions of what you'll read in ZATCA's rulings and on Furat's screens.
- Tax invoice
- An invoice issued between two VAT-registered businesses, including the buyer's details and VAT number.
- Simplified invoice
- An invoice issued to the end consumer — like point-of-sale receipts — where the seller's details and the QR code are enough.
- Fatoora
- ZATCA's platform that invoicing systems connect to in order to report or clear invoices.
- Phase 2 (integration)
- The phase that requires businesses to connect their systems to Fatoora and send invoices electronically in the certified format.
- Chained hash
- A digital fingerprint that links each invoice to the one before it, so any later change to any invoice is detected at once.
- Credit and debit notes
- A document that adjusts an issued invoice up or down; it is linked to it and sent to ZATCA just like it.
